AGM (Annual General Meeting)
An annual general meeting (AGM) is a meeting which is held once a year whereby parents and all council members come to the school to discuss annual reports and release financial statements. At this meeting, the principal gets an opportunity to talk about the school performance.
What to expect at the AGM
The annual report should show progress against a variety of different plans. Some examples of these planning documents include:
- learner achievement and development
- effectiveness of improvement strategies
- resource management, for example financial reports
